Jazz to "Bar de la Place"
Marc Bossut, the organizer of these monthly musical evenings, wants to make
Bar de la Place a musical meeting venue.
At the Bar of the Place, Saturday November 6p.m, he presented a trio of high quality, "W Chabbey", the evening of Saturday November 6 which charmed the audience for nearly two hours with its originality, energy, and professionalism and in a small black room hidden from the world, dedicated this evening, to the worship of the jazz. These three musicians made the jazz neophytes vibrate. You had to be made of marble to sit there quietly.
Everyone could listen and look, peacefully or pleasantly according to his
company or atmosphere. William Chabbey plays on electric guitar, his brother
Emmanuel on contrebass, and Urbano Calvarro on drums. Their performance was on
Saturday evening, using jazz standards as well as a few personal compositions,
where each one could give free course to his soloist talents, (moments which was
extremely appreciated by the audience).
Hailing from Pontault-Combault, this trio recently accompanied a musical in
Paris, otherwise you can listen to them in all the good jazz clubs in the area.
Marc Bossut has been in Boissy for almost a year, before that, he was busy
organizing jazz concerts, his favourite music, in
this socio-cultural center of Pontault-Combault, and it is there that these
three musicians became known.
One of Marc Bossut's objectives is to let various groups express themselves via
their compositions. Naturally, the jazz would not be excluded. The music on one
side, the
audience on another, form a unit, joined together in a peaceful and alive
communion, where the notion of time becomes abstract.
