William Chabbey (G), or Gil, Lachenal (b) and Sylvain
Mazzola (hca), Boris Blanchet (ts), Andy Baron and George Brown (DM) meet
the cool. A soaring guitar, a bass which adds roundnesses, Andy Barron playing
cymbals, a moonlike clarity, and the dancing strokes of George
Brown ("Meeting With the Cool "and the so beautiful" Laurence ", nicely sung
by Sylvain Mazzola(harmonica): the swing is light or brilliant ("Song for
Bird"), the subdued atmosphere remains rigorous.
