"I have written the music of this disc over the ten last years. It was great to meet William Chabbey five years ago in Paris and to play some concerts with him. If the music has a very high quality, his enthusiasm for this project and his splendid play is there for much. When we wondered who could play bass William suggested his brother Emmanuel Chabbey . His way of playing the bass has seduced me already and I asked him to join us.
The fact that George Brown plays the drums on this disc makes the music even more invaluable. His rhythm and his very personal "groove" make my compositions sound better than I'd ever dared to hope."
